Ebels are a lot like women that lack a low cut dress that zips up the side...neither get the love that they deserve...

My jeweler offered me this watch. Naturally I said "how much?"

Despite being a steal, I thought, do I need another Rolex? I already have one. Wouldn't it be excess? Wouldn't it be greedy?; I mean there are children on other continents who can't get their hands on a Rolex.

I told my buddy about my dilemma and he set me straight. He said, "don't be a dick. Not buying this Cellini would be like kicking your jeweler in the balls. He has offered you a great deal."

To that end, I lowballed my jeweler and got it cheaper. Thanks Nuvolari for setting me straight.

I really love this bad boy. Today I am wearing a nice black Brooks Bros. suit and as my astute friend noted, the watch dresses up the suit. I mean this is true even considering my green tie is covered in lions jumping through belts.

I'm not going to be a dick anymore. I will buy good deals when I see them.

A wonderful story, one which made me laugh, and then weep.
