Ebels are a lot like women that lack a low cut dress that zips up the side...neither get the love that they deserve...

Good dogs!
Yeah they are. Bully breeds are special needs dogs, can develop problematic behaviors beyond the abilities of typical owner, so many end up unrehomable in shelters where they eventually get taken out to the gravel pit.

My first wife was a professional Schutzhund trainer, even a German, so I learned tons from her and her pals. After she passed, I figured I was done with dogs, 20 years without until my son finished elementary school in Jaoan and returned to USA where dog ownership is way easier than urban Osaka.

Firearms and dogs were his big dream of what USA offered that was scarce in Japan.

We got Yoshi on the right first, then 3 years later Coco several weeks before the pandemic began in earnest.

Challenging breed even just one but then getting two to live in harmony, great experience for my son. He knows dog psychology now.

I had always liked dogs but without the powerful breed experience I obtained via my first wife, I doubt it would have been as successful as it has been and I did have some some serious doubts along the way.
