It has been breezy and a bit chilly in the shade… and a simply fantastic lazy Sunday afternoon.

I selected this unbranded Sinn-ish contraption based on the venerable NH35A with hack and hand-wind in a PVD coated case that includes the area surrounding the transparent caseback- where many manufacturers, annoyingly, ‘cheap-out’.

I believe the green suede band dresses it up slightly while still providing a mil-what-fleiger-spec-not vibe. And the lume is great - super-secret DUPERluminova Mach IX - thanks for axing!

I will say the crystal on this thing has the absolutely best AR response of any watch, that I’ve worn in the last 3 days.

By Jove - this shot was in the kind of completely direct sunlight that would annoy the living hell out of me with any watch I have ever encountered, over the last 4 days.

Again

How'd you ding the wing on that thing?
Beauty, kudos.
I didn't. It is a 2001 watch that was someone's daily for 20 years.. . . Never serviced (or polished, or otherwise molestered.) I had my jeweler service the movement and leave it alone otherwise so folks could see what 20 years of daily wear and nit caring looks like. I have plenty of safe queens, but today wore while mowing and blowing, cleaning the garage, and stacking a cord of firewood. . .
