Happy New Year Lords!
I caught a damn cold from my (home-from-college-tested-negative) daughter, who was feeling so much better yesterday that she was able to enjoy crab & champagne with my beautiful wife/her mom - on my behalf, bless her little heart….
Honestly, I didn’t care - I just wanted another Nyquill-and tonic and to be left alone. I DID at least have on this Seiko:

Today I feel loads better, but sound ridiculous. I was planning on a minor heater-tap service on the Shadow... but that’s gonna have to wait another day due to a bout of chronic laziness.

When I had picked it up in San Jose after a major (ma£or!) brake rehab a few days ago (before I drove it home to find a heater-tap failure that did not please Mrs. Nuvolari (either)) I had the good fortune to get up close to a 1937 Phantom II Sedanca DeVille... a very rare model with a hardtop that slides back into the roof structure - ostensibly so your chauffeur can enjoy some vitamin D... Featuring an original interior it’s a fantastic, albeit odd, bit of motorcar history that I had previously only read about.

Here’s to creating some fantastic and odd history of my own in the year ahead!
