It is a crocodile band I for which I had paid retail (gasp!) back when I didn’t know any better.

But I loved that maroon color so much, when the watch went in for service I had Tam The Watchmaker change the blued seconds hand into something red-ish... and, tah-dah!

What’s amazing is that I still like it - it has been like this for at least 10 years... I usually change bands long before then. But this one just “works”...
