At some point I am just going to have to cave and buy a used Speedy. A daunting task since Omega has released no less than a billion versions. Want to get one of the older, higher selling models so parts will be available.

Mr. Loaf wearing a strap! The mind reels.
I find tv watches to be like the guys who raise their truck you need a fricken ladder to get in. It’s a attempt to look cool... that’s all.

I haven’t been able to find a 19mm titanium bracelet for this yet. It has been difficult finding end links that fit. These don’t look horrible, so I took a 22mm straight end ladder bracelet and cut it to fit in the gaps of the end links. This only works because the watch isn’t perfect or new looking. I like it more than the others I’ve had on it.

^^^ Lookup Heritageleather Straps or KLG Handmade Leather Goods on FB. They are both good people who build custom straps from their homes in Romania.

Have bought from both and have full confidence in their abilities and trustworthiness.

I have frog leather, black with yellow stitching, 21mm from KLG that cost me $90.

And I have American Bison and Shark Leather straps of 20mm, both from Heritageleather. Paid $85 for each.

Way better price and options than what you can buy from bigger companies and supports a craftsman.

You can choose material, color, width, length, thickness, backing, style, buckle type and more. You can ask them for suggestions and guidance, also. They both are great to work with and will send photos of your strap for your approval before asking for payment. Both ship fast DHL.

Always get the bracelet and you can throw it in a a drawer once you get the right strap! After a while, the “bracelet drawer” will get heavy enough to work as a wheel chock for your Breaking-Bad-style RV.

Speaking of the right strap, I was left unattended for a few moments last night and made another minor change :

To what I think may be a good pick:

Which looks like this, at least it did last night:

Today, it looks more like this:

WatchGeeks will go down in watch forum history as the worst watch related site that existed. Trolls, threats, bannings, and owners and sponsors talking out of their collective asses to fleece people out of hard earned money. - Koimaster
