Now why hasn't this been done before?!

I'll step into the breech here, and not meaning any disrespect.

Why? BECAUSE MOST NORMAL PEOPLE WILL NEVER CHANGE THE FUCKING BRACELET.

In This Thing of Ours, we often forget that we are a small percentage of people who actually buy watches. While I don't really care one way or the other if CW makes it easier to take off a bracelet, since I'm highly unlikely to ever buy a CW anyway, most normal people don't give a fuck.
My little brain can't even comprehend how deep that is.

I dunno. I only removed one bracelet ever, on a cheap diver that I barely cared about where I replaced it with a rubber strap. I really felt kinda bad, taking it off, gnarled it up more than a bit. This way of removing a bracelet just seems more ... humane?

I dunno. I see all sides of this one.

I like it, Grand Seikos look great on strap. I usually go to these cheesy jewelers on my street, they have more crucifix on chains a gogo. $5 for strap change. I think I'm their only customer.
