Yeah, I like it. I have a Powermatic 80 and it's a fantastic movement, accurate and smooth, and pretty much amazing for its price point.

Yeah, that's similar to a Datejust or Oyster Perpetual, but not too similar. We have a Tissot store here in NYC and I'll keep an eye out for this one.

Nice looking watch. It gives me a minor stiffie. One quick aside--the Hondinkee jerkoff is saying that the Powermatic is an 8 beat-per-second movement. I thought it was 6 bps.

Anybody know for sure?
I find tv watches to be like the guys who raise their truck you need a fricken ladder to get in. It’s a attempt to look cool... that’s all.

6 bps . But I'll be damned if I can really tell the difference .
All my Powermatics are scary accurate and tick on forever.

Nice one. I like it.

8 bps is 28 800 bph. The Powermatic 80 movements run at 21 600 (6 bps). The Donkeys are - as it usually is the case with the sodding lot of them - completely wrong.

Fuck the Donkeys.
