Those SWI autos are still one of my favorite watches that I never jumped at. The ones you guys have are just beautiful - and I'd wager those are the best quality watches ever offered by a "TV brand." I can't think of anything else that comes even close.

Not wearing on of the above (N.O.A. today) but I thought I would just add my thoughts about another cheap pimp daddy from the old days.

I'll say it again: DAMN those watches are nice. Still kickin' myself for not grabbing one in the waning days of Ozo's Lior's version of SWI.

I ain't big on three handers but that sure is a handsome damn watch right there.

Did the same thing- didn't buy the SWI's, these- whatayagonna do?

I think I may be able to soothe myself a little bit with a very nice version of the 7751, but damn.

Am I missing something?
What's the connection between AN and SWI.
My AN was also sold as a Gevril.
Confused.
???????
AN produced the SWI badged watches .

Believe they produced certain watches for Gevril as well.
Yep.

^^^I believe they did.

And, AIR, when IWG assumed the S. Coifman name, slop claimed that S.C. also bought up quantities of vintage classics to pop into their drek.

This is, to me, a fine thing. The idea that a bunch of unused (but still fine) movements can be brought back from the dead, after many years of storage, is a perfect example of the joy of This Thing of Ours. Instead of molding away in some watchmaker's set of drawers, they are cased, in a fine watch, oiled and cleaned, and will serve some good WIS for many years to come.

It's almost a holy thing. Unless Eyal does it, then it's infamnia.
My little brain can't even comprehend how deep that is.
