Better stuff to be found for the money, and their design, usually resulting in an illegible watch, sucks cock.MVMT, which was founded a mere six years ago, in 2013, is due partly to savvy design, partly to accessible pricing
That'd mean that the customers' evolution drives us right back to the Neanderthal stage, if not to that of earlier hominids.Much of the evolution of MVMT watches was also guided by input from clients and potential clients
Ughhh...are you sure your name ain't Stephen?and the highly accessible pricing of MVMT watchs
Stop hyping that dreadful shit. Any Timex will do better, for even less.entry level models are still under $100
#beadonkey #jointheherdplus the sense of participation many of the brand's fans felt
When I saw them in person and held them in my hands, they have proven themselves to be every inch the pile of fucking rubbish I expected them to be. And there goes the guy who's verbally choking the chicken to Pateks, Rolexes and Grand Seikos, claiming this fashionista sodding lot of pish and bollocks to be impressive?I quite frankly didn't find the watches or the brand particularly interesting at first glance, but when I saw them in person for the first time at Davos, they made an impression in a way I wasn't expecting.
Yes, that Ruhla-ish finishing on a Miyota 821A certainly is interesting. The automatics especially seemed interesting
Not even worth it for the scrap metal value....I ended up feeling like quite a lot of value was being offered...
It means that it's frequently bought by people drinking gluten-free soya latte, who also happen to enjoy reading Karl Marx, knock over trash cans, and wearing the sort of trousers that women used to wear in the late 1990s....by what I'd initially dismissed as a mass-market hipster (whatever that means) brand...
OK, at least it's not the IP coating.Cases for the Arc Automatic watches are stainless steel, with gold PVD coating applied to some models
Oh my, and that's only a part of a longer sentence. I'll do the editing here: pairing the display back with this movement sucks cock. Shorter, and more to the point.A display back for a watch powered by a minimally finished Miyota movement is something that some enthusiasts might dislike on the grounds that there is nothing much to show off
Mpfff. Just have them buy a Timex Marlin. Or a Seiko 5.MVMT Arc Automatics serve a wonderful purpose – they give the experience of owning and enjoying a thoughtfully designed mechanical watch to just about anyone who wants to try it, and I suspect that years down the road, quite a few much more expensive watches, from companies that are not MVMT, are going to be sold because it was an Arc Automatic that got the customer hooked on watches in the first place.
I'd send them all an animated gif of Ron Jeremy sucking his own cock.
Conjurer, of people asking about their Doxas
