It's a GMT. You prefer your GMT's without the 24hr bezel?
Maybe. To me GMT watches can have either a 24hr bezel, dial or rehaut--------
It doesn't matter that much because 1) you just time using the 0/lume pip and 2) nobody will ever dive with these.codguy wrote: ↑October 22nd 2023, 5:02amMaybe. To me GMT watches can have either a 24hr bezel, dial or rehaut--------
but diving watches should have 60 minute bezels (with or without ISO qualified markings) imo. Don't see how these "fulfils any professional diving requirements" with the tiny 60 minute rehaut markings .
Bremont markets their Supermarine line as divers watches hence my comment above.

The Bremont Supermarine divers watches are inspired by our Aviation principles. Each timepiece maintains the Bremont DNA with the Bremont Trip-Tick® case construction and beautifully finished chronometer-tested movement. The Supermarine range fulfils any professional diving requirements.
They are using the Supermarine case...but it is tasked primarily as a GMT. I see no issue with that at all. There is no downside to a 500m WR GMT that can think of.codguy wrote: ↑October 22nd 2023, 5:02amMaybe. To me GMT watches can have either a 24hr bezel, dial or rehaut--------

Likewise, nobody's ever going to wear one whilst flying the Concorde.jason_recliner wrote: ↑October 22nd 2023, 6:26amIt doesn't matter that much because 1) you just time using the 0/lume pip and 2) nobody will ever dive with these.codguy wrote: ↑October 22nd 2023, 5:02amMaybe. I agree-----Diving watches only need to have a lumed pip, ALL remaining 60 minute bezel, dial, rehaut numbers and/or ISO indications are superfluous for underwater timing.jason_recliner wrote: ↑October 22nd 2023, 6:26amIt doesn't matter that much because you just time using the 0/lume pip
They will most likely be used to track home time while lounging in the resort pool.conjurer wrote: ↑October 22nd 2023, 8:37amLikewise, nobody's ever going to wear one whilst flying the Concorde.jason_recliner wrote: ↑October 22nd 2023, 6:26amIt doesn't matter that much because 1) you just time using the 0/lume pip and 2) nobody will ever dive with these.codguy wrote: ↑October 22nd 2023, 5:02am

And a date and GMT hand?
Is this a dive watch or a GMT that can get wet?
Yes.
Then it's a travesty and an international disgrace fitting a leather strap to this watch and it looks SO good!
I'm OK with it.jason_recliner wrote: ↑October 24th 2023, 9:24pmThen it's a travesty and an international disgrace fitting a leather strap to this watch and it looks SO good!
