Thinking about getting the green variant although the jaguar focus on rubber in the review is kind of growing on me.

These weren't on my radar but should be - thanks! One of the rare screaming bargains - AUD$320ish! Yep, do it. Bracelet looks super-janky (acceptable when they are almost giving them away), put it on rubber IMO

I had one of the Orient King Divers back in the day. Really pretty watch but was on the dressy side for me. Super value though.

They did a lot of King Diver variations over the decades but didnt seem to catch on outside Japan as much as some other Orient stuff.

I am shooting for a green JDM model, barring that a black or jaguar focus one.

I had one of those, oh, ten years ago or so. I got the black PVD model, and the plating on it was total shit, which surprised me, coming from Orient.

This looks to be a different watch from the old King Divers. I also had one (more?) of those. Sapphire and hacking.

This model is supposed to be just like original.

Sometime in 2010s they did do a fairly faithful reissue but generally it got where any dual crown they called a King Diver even if not so designated on watch, tags etc
