New 'Final Countdown' Watch Collection + NFT Launch By WT Author

Post by Sam Holland » February 18th 2022, 10:30am

Afternoon Watch Forum, from a blustery past of the UK,

I would love to hear your thoughts...

Here are some images I produced in Rhino and then rendered in KeyShot. I have used a stock caliber movement 3D model in the renderings I have produced so far but the final watch will come fitted with a 9 series Nº 9015 Miyota caliber watch movement and FKM fluoroelastomer band. Looking to produce 50 of this item.

The entire design is being developed with the community at Club Thirteen Red prior to its launch in April, anyone is welcome to join and take part!

I've been so thankful for the valuable input over the past few weeks relating to the new collection we're due to release on Kickstarter, Tuesday, 26 April 2022. I've had the greatest pleasure sharing these images with like-minded individuals from across the world, noting feedback on what could be improved during production. It's been fully appreciated, thank you to everyone for the frequent comments.

You’re not peaking our interest by being vague.
This just seems like spam to get us to join a Facebook group that you are a moderator of.
In memory of TB/Phfluff, since he isn’t here to continue to give his praise, I will share it for him.

Given the awkward generic intro, ('afternoon watch forum...' really?), the lack of specs and some background on the instrument basis for the design with which to evaluate the watch in conjunction with the mockups, apparently a cheap ploy to boost WT's fuckbbook page membership, perhaps some enhancement of WT's PR and marketing skills, and a revision in design language is in order given you have produced five previous releases yielding only 124 followers. That said, the 9015 is a good start.

Do feel free, Sam, to stop back with a proper presentation. Thanks for stopping by.

NEEEEXT. Next please.

My thoughts? Those are some fugly wartches. Moreover, it seems like design-by-committee is destined for failure.
I am genuinely apologetic that I can’t make more positive comments, but buoyed by the suspicion that my words will probably not be read by the OP anyway.
