Yema Wristmaster Traveler

Post by koimaster » October 21st 2021, 12:09am

The Bôle family has a watchmaking history spanning over several decades. This legacy is now managed by the third generation, YEMA’s Managing Director and Head of Design Christopher Bôle. Cradled by watchmaking since his earliest childhood, Christopher has always been attracted by YEMA’s rich design past. In 2016, his father Pascal Bôle appointed Christopher as Head of Design. His most notorious achievements are the Superman and Rallygraf models that were redesigned from 2016 onwards, and more recently, the Rallygraf Meca-Quartz, Spacegraf ZERO-G and the Flygraf Pilot models. Christopher discusses some interesting design anecdotes within Maria-Pia Coustans’ book. In 2021, Christopher reinterprets some vintage Wristmaster models while preserving YEMA’s ADN and proudly equipping these timepieces with YEMA’s new In-house Calibers.

Back when I was a young buck, I knew a guy a couple years older than me named Francis Taminski. We all called him "The Wristmaster," because of his constant playing of pocket pool. On the bus? The Wristmaster was jacking off. In physics class? The Wristmaster would be choking the chicken. I remember he went into the Air Force and later became assistant national security advisor to George W. Bush.
