I (really do) hate to be negative, but this reads like the Victoria Cross parody I was doing with JR. It is, however, food for thought. Why does one brand succeed when another fails? If watches prospered solely on design, execution, and value there are several popular brands that would have failed years ago, and several defunct brands that would still be going strong.
If you're going to defy all reason and attempt to bring a new watch brand to market, it seems you ought to ask yourself what you can offer the consumer that he can't already get.
