You see, Mr. X, this is the sort of thing that Conjurer 2.0 should have made, instead of the hateful, and not to say racist, comment that I so hatefully posted above.

Instead of making fun of Italian watchmaking, I should have noted all the brands over the centuries that they have graced us with. Like Panerai. And... Ah... There's gotta be another... Nope, just Panerai. But what a brand! The Italians hit the horological ball so far out of the park, what the fuck do they need with another brand?

A big +1 to what Underscore said.

Wonder how long the gold and blue take to wear off?

Currently up to $2,270,000 or so the claim is. I keep getting spammed by them with bullshit stories.

Looks like a cross-breed of Bernie Madoff and Stauer... Fucking crooks.

The movement is quite definitely by Miyota, with a module on top of it.

I mean, wow. These two articles are really something.

Things like these cheeseballs, Invicta, and Stauer are the Benny Hinns of horology - they promise salvation for just a few bucks, but in the end it's all utter bullshit.

the comments section is full of "where's my watch?", "I got my watch, and it's a piece of shit." "I want my money back." "Scammers!"

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/20 ... i/comments

People still think that if it's sold on the internet, it is possible to get a $1,000 watch for only $150. That's why the internet is full of scammers. They make a watch for $10, claim it's worth $1,000, sell it for $150. Use every free social media outlet to advertise, don't even bother to pay a starving English major twenty bucks to proofread their marketing drivel.
