Tribus sale. Christopher Wards new company

Post by svaglic » June 27th 2022, 2:27pm

Fire sale at Tribus. Some here seemed to show interest in a thread a while back, here is a sale if there is still interest.

In memory of TB/Phfluff, since he isn’t here to continue to give his praise, I will share it for him.

Uhm ok, Ima lost here.
Whi do all five of those ^ wartches claim to have brushed, polished and PVD GUNMETAL finishes???

Case in point this pick of the litter;
https://tribus-watches.com/collections/ ... gmt-cosc-3

MAKING THE CASE FOR SWISS
Engineered from 316L stainless steel in Switzerland, this case features brushed and polished surfaces and a PVD gunmetal finish. A screw-down crown ensures it has a water resistance of 15ATM.

-----> Ar they talking bout grey gunmetal, black gunmetal and gold gunmetal ??? Me thaught gunmetal waz a deep gray colour.
Wish Granny Lalo waz hear to xsplain.

I don’t know. I didn’t look at anything except the prices. I’m not interested in buying one, just passing on a way cheaper price then they were when people were saying they might be interested in buying one.

That wasn't a dig at you Svag and the price of the gold/cream/brown watch is enticing.
Guess my prob is when manufactures become lazy on their website hoping others won't really look into what is written. Cheapens everything to me.

A better look at the watch in the thread below. For the price, about 350 USD, for a certified chronometer GMT watch is a steal. The gold and cream one looks to be sold out.

My compressor is supposed to ship the end of July, I wonder if it will get pushed back.

These guys blew out watches for 75% off that they hadn't even received and / or had certified yet? Talk about being strapped for cash, man. Hope they took in enough to cover the run and that you get your watches. COSCnified as advertised.

I think you might have two watch companies confused--------- or probably me.

The 75% off was for Tribus and Koi's GMT has shipped.
The pre-ordered watches out of Singapore (Koi's three hander and Svag's compressor) are RZE.
