Yes, there is something funny with this listing. With a 40mm case and 16mm bracelet, this doesn't look right. I suspect one of those measurements is not correct. Can't really see any tapering in bracelet, at least not on my kindle screen. The only issue I ever had with Joma was an incorrect product spec, got my money back.

Yes, there is something funny with this listing. With a 40mm case and 16mm bracelet, this doesn't look right. I suspect one of those measurements is not correct. It’s not like you posting a good deal is offensive! They’re like any big seller, if the price is exceptional then service levels are probably weak…. but that is seldom a concern for me. (You know, until it is - and then I hold a grudge.)

Anyway - it’s all good, I still appreciate the post!

The models at the link appear to be updated pieces as they have different reference numbers than the watch in the OP ad. The ladies models have round markers and 16mm wide lugs. The Gents models have stick markers and 20mm wide lugs. Interestingly enough, none of gents watches now retail for more than $870.

It would seem Joma is blowing out NOS gents watches and confused the lug width. Check with them - hell, with the grogongous number of watches they move, they could have just as easily posted the wrong watch altogether with the correct lug width.
