Rainman Weil

Post by svaglic » February 13th 2021, 8:34am

I just ordered one. With EXTRA25 code it was 376.00, taxes and shipping brought it back to 410, but I can live with that. Description says it’s a quartz, but the dial clearly says automatic. I love the color and dial design and it’s a 39.5mm.
It wasn’t on my list, but I couldn’t resist when I saw it.

Agreed, a nice pick up...I'm getting some Breguet vibes from it, which is a good thing..

I feel Raymond Weil is highly under rated. That is a very nice example.

If I am to be insulted I must first value your opinion.

Good for you, Svaglic!

Had stared at that one, too, after the bargain listed at MOT. Kept telling myself I don’t need one and that wouldn’t get worn much on leather. But, it looks amazing. Great price for sure.

I’ll get it on a bracelet probably.

What is MOT? I've seen you guys use this term a few times and I haven't a clue of what it is.

Man on time forum. They have the best deals thread. You have to be a member to see them though. You have to suffer through some $hit watches, but it is a great place to get discount codes and deals.

Very handsome - and pretty sharp looking on that strap.

Nice going. Really good buy there - I didn't even know that Saks on 5th could be ordered from online (there's one of their retail stores near me). Live and learn! Really handsome. Good job, as always.

Got it.

Sad when my pictures aren’t as good as the stock photos.

They claim an in house movement, rw4200 caliber. The belief is, it is a tweaked ETA 2824 or 2836.

I like the shade of blue, that I can’t seem to capture in my pictures. The lugs have two places for lug pins, since the lugs are short I don’t have a bracelet on hand to fit it with. I’ll find out how comfortable the leather strap is tomorrow. It fits well, the short lugs allow it to look smaller on the wrist. I like it, but I was expecting more wow factor, it’s made well and good attention to detail, I just expected more. The packaging was nice, better then Eterna , but not as nice as Rado. The watch finishing is better then Eterna, but not as good as Rado.
I’m using Eterna and Rado as comparisons because I believe they are around the same level.
