Hard to fathom how a Panamanian parvenue can sell a real Swiss automatic watch for that price and then fleece the feebs for more with a quartz Chinese hockey puck.

Quite so. Fleecing the feebs isn't a surprise--this is what Eyal does best; it's his bread and butter. More interestingly is the price that Glycine was charging for their stuff in Europe, which, the last time I heard, was pretty close to full-boat retail.

One would think that he's using the profits from the Chinese hockey pucks to float the deep discounts on Glycine in the American market. But, Glycine can only floated for so long, If history is anything to keep in mind, sooner or later Glycine will start producing Chinese hockey pucks.

Just my two cents.
I find tv watches to be like the guys who raise their truck you need a fricken ladder to get in. It’s a attempt to look cool... that’s all.

Good to see that Ashfords will continue to offer the new Vintage Combat Subs at great price points, ala WatchGooRoos/Glycine-Direct..

A really good price on a really good watch..I own the other 2 'The Chief' models, but not this black dial version..

Just an FYI for those who allow Eyal rent free space in their noggins.
Glycine was making hockey pucks (albeit not Chinese) long before Invicta bought into the company.

Right, but they kept it pretty straight aside from their LE Art series and a few of the Airman models. I'm as surprised as anyone that Glycine hasn't gone full cartoon and cable yet.
