Meet Mack

Post by smellody » August 15th 2022, 8:24pm

We returned from vacation last month to the passing of my boxer boy, Charlie.

Image

Charlie was a month short of his 13th birthday 🎂. Thirteen is a ripe old age for a boxer and we were lucky he had no health issues for the twelve years we were together.

I was to sad to post anything last month.

Fast forward to Sunday, we took a three hour trip to eastern Oregon to adopt Mack!

He is a nine month old Frenchton (50% Frenchie and 50% Boston Terrier).

We drove three hours home and he met his sisters. Brie thinks he is a peasant, but I actually think she likes him!

The cats aren't sure.

He is adjusting well.

We spent the day together working. He slept next to me.

He is a bundle of energy and very penis driven. That will come to an abrupt stop next week.

Aww, that's some tough fucking news about Charlie. But good news that you got back in the saddle with Mack. I'm not a god-fearing man, but any guy who loves cats and dogs and is a good owner of both deserves a place in Heaven--and if that's not so, then it's not worth going to.

I’m sorry to hear about Charlie, I loved his face, such a gentle boy.
In Hawaii, down the street, there were some pro skateboarders that had boxers. For exercise the had the boxers pull them on their skateboards, those wheels would hum, you could hear the pack coming from half a block away. The dogs loved it, they would blow by at very fast speeds circling the loop 6-7 times.

Tell Mack, welcome to the WL pet family.
In memory of TB/Phfluff, since he isn’t here to continue to give his praise, I will share it for him.

Sorry about your loss.

I have a rescue Boxer, about 4 years old, that I've had for about 4 months or so. I've had many dogs in my life, but this Boxer, Bo, takes the cake.
He always manages to do something almost every day to make me laugh -- from his "zoommies" to his constant 'patrolling' the yard and always on the alert.
He has several different barks. One in particular is an absolute ear-piercing bark when I'm preparing his food.
He is quite gentle with the 13 year old female Coon Hound.

Again sorry about your loss of a good and constant friend.

Got attached to a Sharpei whom owned me from a puppy through the following ten years.
Losing her was hard for this callous guy so know how it is.

Sorry to hear about your loss and congrats on bringing Mack into his new home.

The dog is dead. Long live the dog! We have also been through this, and how it hurts. But how good for Mack!
Had an aunt and uncle, in my childhood they had a boxer. Very friendly dog, but we kids were always taken a little aback by all the drooling :-)
We were in that age where You also hate them wet kisses from Your aunt or grannie...

Maaaan… I, too, an sorry to hear you had to say goodbye to Charlie. He was a Good Boy.

Mack The Nife seems like he’s gonna do quite well at your awesome petting zoo! Especially after his balls have been ‘adjusted’.

Congratulations on the new love - lots of smiles are sure to ensue!

An sew fourth.
