New addition

Mac found his way onto my property about 8 weeks ago. My daughter took him to the vet for a checkup and to see if he was chipped. He was chipped and the listed owner was called. She had moved to texas a d left him behind because as manx cats do, he had intestinal issues. Most manx cats are put down at 6 months if they have the issues mac does but she never took him to the vet after having him chipped.

We spent over 1k to have him cared for and now he lives in the house. He is about 1 1/2 years old, needs meds and a diaper because his illness does not let him know when he goes to the bathroom.

Very frindly and affectionate but whines when left alone.

Lovely kitty. Good on you.
NRPI and Shitheel here.

Lucky, feral cat adopted 3 years ago.

Boosy who hung around the property last year. He had a massive cut on his neck but too afraid to let us near him. Showed up again in January with an abscess of the wound and too sick to run away. Emergency surgery to repair the wound twice as it opened again. FIV positive but slowly getting healthy again. So now I have 10 cats in total, two ragdolls and a maincoon. The rest are strays or feral kittens that stayed. I am allergic to cats.

You never find better friends than these critters.

Here's my new senior one. She's very talky.

Good luck with your adoptee. Yeah, seems she's landed in the right spot.

Just saw this. Wonderful thing, dude, and a cutie.
Didn't know Manx had a genetic issue. So I learned something. Thanks!
My adoptee is a Hemingway six-toe. Very lovey, wants to be a house cat but lives on porch due to dogs and our Bengal and bizarre breeder Savannah/Bengal/You Name It mix.
Over the years, I have come to very much appreciate cats and I am grateful you took Mac in.
Well done!

Alain you are a real softy with a crusty reputation. We had a Calico Manx growing up, that cat ran the neighborhood. Our Manx lived a long healthy life. Hoping yours can do the same. If I had a nickel for every time I had to collect a squirrel, rabbit, or snake that cat had brought into the basement I'd be rich.
