Very hard reading this. My own cat has had her share of troubles lately, and my dog - who we don't know how old he really is since we adopted him from a rescue group - now has not one but two pretty serious maladies that threaten him. Old adoptions, new problems. We kinda asked for it.

Back on topic: Re-reading this thread really hurts. Alain, I'm just so sorry you had to go through all this, and for no good reason at all. Madness comes in many forms, and I'm really sorry you had to deal with any of this. Nobody should have to.

He was fined and jailed for 2 weekends. He later was discovered with enough drugs to send him off to prison for 6 years. He swore the drugs were not his and he knew nothing about them. He started serving his term about 5 months ago. The POS even accused me of having the drugs planted. Would be near impossible to prove.

What goes around comes around. Low-life jagoffs who abuse or kill animals for the sheer delight of it almost always end up getting convicted of larger crimes, and it's always somebody else's fault--"it wasn't my drugs!" they'll whimper, or, "society was to blame!" or, "my dad/mom/priest beat me!". They almost always fail at life because they lack a few bits of their soul that adds up to character--they lack it, and sooner or later, they pay because of it.

The cocksucker who murdered your cat will get out, sooner or later. Most of these young guys make it through their first stretch. But, naturally, he'll get convicted of something else, because he's a sick fuck. Hopefully, in one of his many calendars in the joint, he will piss off the wrong guy, and get shanked in the showers, or tossed off the top tier, or get immolated in his cell with gasoline and a Bic lighter. I hope his passing will be as painful and slow and horrible as Boom Boom's passing was (I sincerely hope) painless and fast.

And so should die all abusers of animals.

A sad anniversary for me today being two years since Boomer was killed. In the meantime several strays made their way to my place including this. Guy.
