Underappreciated Heuer Diver Professional

Post by koimaster » April 13th 2020, 3:39pm

Given the seemingly endless love there is for dive watches, it is of little surprise that some noteworthy models might slip through the cracks of current enthusiasm, waiting in the wings with the hopes of a glow up to call their own. In this piece from the Fall of 2016, HODINKEE alum Louis Westphalen outlines a watch that, while certainly not a forgotten relic from the early days of diving, may deserve more of your attention – the Heuer Diver Professional.

With the lilt of Irish laughter

Every day and in every way

Now forever and ever after."

Still have mine - 980.020N. Listing and pix borrowed from WUS: https://forums.watchuseek.com/f29/tag-h ... 51679.html
That's a nice one, Fallsy! Is it automatic, or a Sole-lass quarts?
I find tv watches to be like the guys who raise their truck you need a fricken ladder to get in. It’s a attempt to look cool... that’s all.

Quartz - an anniversary gift from 1988 (2 years is the "quartz" anniversary, right? ) from Mme. F.
"Open the pod bay doors, Hal." "I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that."
