Macallan fine oak 21 years

Post by ocean » February 13th 2016, 9:11pm

I have to say tonight was a good time! To my inlaws congratulations on your 50th anniversary.

While I was picking up a keg of Stella for the heathens, I happened to run across this bottle that just screamed buy me. This bottle cost more than my 71 chevy love ( first class POS) just a smidgen over 500 but man was it worth every penny. It was just a few of us on the deck, so with a scotch in one hand and a Havana in the other. All i can say is the wife said no fleabay or recon.

Scotch is an expensive habit. (He said, glancing down at his $600 watch)

Macallan 18 is a particular fave of mine. But at $200/bottle it's strictly for special occasions.

I've been exploring bourbons lately, where the price range is more reasonable.

Me three but still nothing beats a good, aged Scotch.

It was a great night. The bar I setup was about 2700.00 including the Macallan for myself, there were about 200 people last night for my inlaws 50th anniversary which to me is amazing in this day in age.
