Electric is superior to ICE in every way except cost, weight and range. RR doesn't care about cost or weight. RRs don't drive far. It's the obvious choice for a RR.

ICE all the way. I'm going to get a Ford raptor and off-road in some nature preserve and do some donuts and drifting.

Having driven an EV, the torque is addictive.
I'd love a hybrid 4X4 that had an EV system driving the wheels and small fueled engine to recharge the batteries on the fly for longer range. That would give me everything.
Meritocracy: the privilege, wealth and advancement of those who chose their parents wisely.
Capitalism: a cult that promised to do good for the worst reasons.
Nationalism: a profound longing to go back to a past that never existed.

Well, good King Charles now has cancer of the balls, so maybe he'd appreciate the quiet. I myself would not. Turning this beauty into a Tesla with big headlights was an act of cultural homicide.

I like EV’s but not a fan of ruining this classic for a reality show.

Blasphemy !!!
NRPI and Shitheel here.
“Begin at the beginning," the King said, very gravely, "and go on till you come to the end: then stop.”
If I am to be insulted I must first value your opinion.

How does making an old car quieter, smoother and torquier ruin it?
Doesn't even sound like a particularly good or special old car.

It was probably driving in an EV that gave good King Charles cancer of the balls.

What a stoopid thing to do. The power plant is as much a part of the heritage of such a vehicle as is the design of the body. An example of the empty headed Hollywood- media values that appearances are everything.
As long as EV's have lion batteries and must to be charged from primarily coal fired sources they can shove 'em. A bandaid on multiple gunshot wounds not unlike the banning of recyclable plastic T shirt shopping bags to reduce the plastic in landfills.
If Na batteries and self charging systems become a reality, EV's could become a viable solution.
Meantime, my daily driver recently passed it's SMOG test on the dyno releasing less than 10% of the allowable emission levels across the board. Requiring folks to maintain their vehicles and the removal of vehicles from the world fleet that don't meet emission standards is the most effective strategy to reduce climate altering pollutants until alternatives to lion batteries are realized..
If similar limitations were enacted world wide against industrial emitters, the overall mitigation of carbon would be greater than would be a progression to an EV mandate, particularly measured on balance against the toxicity/pollution resultant Lion battery disposal.

We'd probably have less cancer of the balls among the Royals as well.

It's just a basic six, in a pretty basic sort of old car, it's hardly what makes the vintage luxury experience for most. I imagine that would be the leather, carpet and wood. It's not like it's a Cadillac, Packard, or Hispano.

The hardest part of the project was fitting the batteries into the car without massive modifications to the frame.
He also got a killer stereo system with bluetooth and wifi. :) So much for the quietness.
I believe somebody already electrified a Ferrari (

People have been modding cars since cars were invented. Here's a "Smart" car converted into a 1967 Camaro.

Minor Cecil: coal was only 1% of the UK grid's generation in 2023. Pretty drastic decline from 39% in 2013.
It's about 12 times more likely that Aquaman's car is nuclear. But it's most likely gas powered. We're hoping it frees up some petrol for those Reliant Robins used as banger racers.

We really don't know what Charles, Henry or Hans would have done had they had the options that only became available after they died. And I have a dim view of seances.
But we've learned one thing: if you want to keep your legacy alive you have to put it in writing. Otherwise one risks...
