Welles and pal Victor Buono were noted for humorously celebrating their celebrity obese-a-rai staus on talk shows and Sew fourth. Buono in fact wrote a book of light hearted poetry largely devoted to his being a man of size, titled It Could Be Verse, IIRC.

I drove an '84 Cadillac Seville, the one with the ugly as sin rear end, back from the beach to my uncle's many years ago. I had no feel of the road at all; could have been driving over Invicta watch cases, didn't feel a thing. The car floated on air it seemed. Drank gas like Aunt Linda at a family reunion.

In '96, I got to drive my boss'es CTX? on a business trip. That was a rocket, really had some acceleration. Not bad for a car made in Canada. :-)
