1957 Ford Thunderbird

Post by codguy » January 14th 2023, 11:57am

.

Really nice to have car guys in my inner circle.

Here is a modified Thunderbird built by a local acquaintance. Engine built by a real close friend and dynoed/tuned by another close friend.

People have varying hobbys/habits, mine have wrist worn time-telling jewelry as around #3 on the list. We all have our thing.

Oh, and here is the engine builder's 1963-1/2 factory 427ci four speed Galaxie

That is all----------

Not a Ford guy but loved the 63 1/2. Ford has had a lot of good looking cars IMHO.

Wanted to buy a showroom condition 57 Bird with hard top for $1,500 around 1960 but couldnt swing the financing. LOL. Parents were against it because of the insurance.
NRPI and Shitheel here.

“Begin at the beginning," the King said, very gravely, "and go on till you come to the end: then stop.”

If I am to be insulted I must first value your opinion.

That’s awesome

Firearms, timepiece, and car/boat/plane interests tend to cluster in people, seems like.

My father was totally into the T Birds and then when he went family man it was square birds

I have toddler memories with mom rocketing around in one

Later my first car, aged 14 was a depleted square bird I was reviving

Pure automotive heritage. Way cool what they’ve done with it.
