Apologies in advance but it's always bothered me how RR used the grille shape in cars where it was not appropriate. RR cars after about the 1920s look rubbish (Bentley Continental excluded).
Agree to disagree. I find anything short of a Rolls Royce rubbish to some degree. I do have a special place in my heart for Jaguar.

I will drive proper petrol ⛽️ cars until I die.

Looks like a good time. I had a golf tournament on Sunday and the haze from forest fires south and north kept the temperature reasonable. Can see the haze in your pics as well. I noticed some of the RRs had a tent setup. Do they allow overnight camping for this event?
See you're WRONG I don't work at all, I'm a Democrat. The immortal Horse Feathers as spoken to Chucky Ninetoes.

What a great way to celebrate Great Britain - lacking only Gin & tonic!

The XJ-C was an under appreciated car… or, under loved since overheating will take a toll on a relationship. Still… a better approach to a 2-door coupé from a four-door design than the way Mercedes did the W107 SLC from the W116 SEL (didn’t happen, no time - so it was a ‘LWB’ hardtop SL.)

(Fail!)

Sir Lyons would have liked it…

First of all, you don't know what was in my Hydroflask.

Second, the Germans make a fine product, but there is something about a British motor.
