Fuck Tesla
If it thinks, it stinks
I used to feel this way. Now I want a car that takes me to my destination negotiating traffic with minimum effort, maximum comfort, and in silence (or as close to silent as is possible).
Your vehicle usage may require frequent long distance trips. For most people, most of the time, batteries with 600+km range will be sufficient between charges. On the rare occasions I need a large 4WD to go camping I hire one - I don't like driving them so have no desire to own one.
I'd go for the Lucid - I've always wanted a car with the biggest frunk in the industry.
Yeah, I use my 4WD off-road regularly, unlike 80% of 4WD owners out there. Like you say, they are large cars and not the easiest to drive or park but people get sucked into the badass tacticool image BS.jason_recliner wrote: ↑May 28th 2022, 7:34pmYour vehicle usage may require frequent long distance trips. Range Rovers are nice. I would be interested if they were more reliable.
I hear that a lot from non owners. I replaced the motor in the p38 a 246k miles with one that 23k. Total cost for labor and motor, $3100. Also replaced airbags in suspension including labor for under $1k.
Yep they do have issues. For the suspension issues many went to springs. I purchased a reset system which you plug in and it resets the suspension. Cost me $80 or so back in 2004. Still works today. I had some critters eat the engine harness so i had the entire wiring harness replaced Front to back.
