New shoes for the Shelby

Post by Datsun240Z71 » March 16th 2023, 3:52am

Not a fan of all black wheels, so when I finally felt that the Shelby was fixed (see here for that story: viewtopic.php?f=164&t=54772&p=527405&hi ... 0#p5274050), I ordered aftermarket wheels. They are from BC Forged, custom built in Taiwan, with in my case, a 5 week period from order to delivery. These same wheels are offered by Shelby America in Las Vegas (who really had nothing to do with the GT500 except the name) except they do not say Shelby on them or the center caps, they cost 20% less, and you can order single replacements if needed, not a whole other set.

I got exactly the look I was hoping for, with a slightly more agressive offset, and now the car looks as I imagined when I bought it.

Agree, 100% better looking.. Very few cars look good with black wheels IMHO.
NRPI here.

“Begin at the beginning," the King said, very gravely, "and go on till you come to the end: then stop.”

If I am to be insulted I must first value your opinion.
