Out of order watches

Post by koimaster » June 18th 2022, 10:44am

Yrs, it is a watch brand. :dssd:

Out of Order Watches understands what people love more than most companies do.

Out of Order Watches was born on the day that co-founder Riccardo Torrisi found himself with a broken, high-end watch and not enough money to fix it. Inspired by the classic appeal of pieces like a well-worn pair of jeans or a broken-in leather jacket, he wondered why high-end timepieces couldn’t share the same, lived-in appeal.
Riccardo Torrisi joined with Claudio Dalla Mora and Dario Ceolotto, and working side-by-side, the trio created a unique brand that blends the sophisticated form of high-end timepieces with the signature, “Damaged in Italy” finish that adds even more character to the design.

Out of Order Watches competes in the high-end market by offering a unique take on vintage timepieces with the passionate precision of skilled craftsman and experienced watchmakers. You’ll never find two pieces from Out of Order Watches that look alike, and you’ll never find another brand that you love quite as much.
Don’t be afraid to wear your Out of Order Watch wherever you go – they love being part of the action.

Koi, thanks so much for this link. I actually got chills looking and reading about these gorgeous works of art. It was as if someone looked into my soul and answered questions I was too afraid to ask. This is truly my dream watch personified. I’ve long asked, where can I get an exotic dive watch, in fruity colors, with a reliable Swiss Ronda “engine “ (just like an $1199 Sub Acqua Nomar) in a whopping huge size, designed for “real dandies” such as I. Tons of places, right? But wait! I’m not finished! Where can I get this ticking bunch of goodness, that looks as if John Cameron Swayze strapped it to the sole of a thoroughbred racehorse for six months? Thanks again Koi. You just made this real dandy’s day!

Oh, I almost forgot my favorite part: the Damaged in Italy on the face. So fun! This is perfect for sitting on the couch with Mrs. Ivey, sipping spritzers and watching Project Runway!
I even love the backstory, which I almost never do. Some mook abuses a nice watch, can’t afford to get it fixed, looks at his now cruddy watch and wonders “what can I do with this worthless piece of crap?” Lightbulb moment. Even though I don’t have the scratch to fix one watch, I’ll start an entire watch company and show at Baselworld. Brilliant, Polly!
