Crystal upon unboxing had scratches all over it. And the dye on the planet seems to leak into your skin. Honestly the watch feels super super super cheap. It is super cheap but not worth $260USD. A GA-2100 is way more worth it. But if you’re into the brand go for it. Overall not impressed.
Backstory of the colour leak: Went to a party, and temperatures were hot so moisture got to it.
Straps also feel like garbage. Would rather have rubber. The watch itself is so light…
You’re really just paying for branding. Do I expect a high end quality watch from this purchase? No. I expected the quality of a $260 quartz watch. This is not it.
Is this a luxury watch? No. It never will be but in this case they got you with branding and sold you a swatch disguised as an Omega for double the price of a regular swatch.
It’s a cool collab and but overall it’s underwhelming and not worth what the hype says it’s worth.
EDIT:
- People complaining about the blue dye being one the side and the watch being turned sideways. The planet print is the darkest spot on my arm above my vein. The dye will fall from the print and mix with moisture which covers the case back. I turned the watch sideways for the photo and wouldn’t spend the time to colour in my arm for a photo of a crappy watch. I’m just posting my own experience with it.
- People complaining about the engraving. Facebook photo uploads degrade the quality of photos. The lighting and the angle at which the photo was taken also makes it so you can’t see the side engravings. But below I also posted a photo of the back engraving in the comments. The engraving is super shallow.
Here’s a Reddit post from another buyer who had a similar experience:

That certainly can't be good for business, by golly.

That is something I would expect from Invicta, which I’m surprised didn’t happen with their toxic river watch.
Swatch had a nice little money grab there, I wonder if they will get many returns from this or if people will think they have something valuable and hang on to them. Here’s hoping they at least fix the issue, it will be interesting to see what the next few batches do on the wrist.
In memory of TB/Phfluff, since he isn’t here to continue to give his praise, I will share it for him.

just dump them in warm water and let the colors leech out.
Easter is near (for those who celebrate or eat ham or whatever (not that there is anything wrong with that)) consider submerging them in vinegar to color your hardboiled eggs.

A little extra hold hairspray or spray lacquer might just do the trick, by golly.
Always a bonus when a new wartch is also a project!

The blue is coming from the case.

After watching the video, there's nothing else to be said.

It's a piece of shit.
It’s a scratch and sniff your wrist after wearing this. Just don’t scratch and sniff Uranus.

Quite so. I just spent the last fifteen minutes bursting balloons over at watchcrunch about this miserable piece of fucking shit.

Interestingly, Swatch Group just did what it's been trying to stop, along with all the other mid-range luxury brands have done for the last 20 years; instead of telling consumers that, if you want an Omega for less than four figures, you have to buy a knock-off, they instead produce their own knockoff, which bleeds colourwheys onto their customer's wrists, because, you know, they're selling a motherfucking knockoff.

For all the stupid bastards that stood in line at a Swatch store--fuck off and die, you fucking ignorant plebes.

Dang. So, instead of going to an AD and spending Sixty five hundred bucks US on an actual moonwatch (assuming they are available, I dunno, because I don't care for 'em), you can buy a plastic knockoff from some cocksucker on ebay that's quartz, bleeds colourwheys onto your wrist, and is a revolting piece of motherfucking shit, for the same price!!

Well, goddamn it, I'll have to sit down and think this one through.

The bleeding seems to be limited to the blue version - anybody else seen vids of the others?

“In humid countries like Malaysia and Singapore all the different colours are leaving heavy stains on our wrists after wearing them for several days already. What a disappointment after all the hype.”

Jeeeze, man across the board? What the hell kind of testing of this stuff could they have done before the production run of these? There are a number of SWATCH models that have BC cases with no such issues AFAIK. A real stain, so to speak, on SWATCH and Omega. And crickets as yet from the home office. What an abortion.
