Rotary Super 7 Scuba for WatchNation

Post by koimaster » September 28th 2020, 8:36am

It has been a good long time since The Time Bum had a Rotary Watch through its doors. This venerable British brand is common on the other side of the Atlantic, but a relative rarity here in the states. That's a shame, because they make some fine pieces at very reasonable prices, like the Rotary Super 7 Scuba they gave me in exchange for this review. This handsome diver is a exclusive and can be had for just £229 (about $292 US). ... ime+Bum%29

Yeah, well, nothing out of the ordinary. Not bad, but a wee bit boring. That money buys a decent Citizen Promaster diver (one of the Eco-Drive quartz, obviously), or the updated Dan Henry 1970 (Seiko NH35 vs the Rotary's Miyota 8205).
I always hope for the best. Experience, unfortunately, has taught me to expect the worst.

Rather save up a bit more and get the Citizen NY0100 green. Oh, I already have that one.
