I'd like to see more pictures of the watch but the design is fine and the price not bad. Better pictures would help to see the level of quality that is missing in the grainy picture they show.

They should specify the charity by name they wish to support.

Minuteman doing the "Buy me because I'm American" thing had me thinking of other companies doing the same thing. I knew there was a company out of Detroit pulling this wool so I googled 'Detroit watch company' and got this instead of Shinola:

If I'm going to buy American because it's made in America and I love to wave the flag, I'm going with the Timex.

Shinola is overpriced but the watches are actually very well made.

Thanks, I stand corrected. There was something about them that set me off; perhaps the advertising. They used to be everywhere.

There have been tons of threads all over the place about Shinola and their early marketing claims. Pro and con. I had a couple and still have a Filson,which is made by Shinola.
Bottom line is that they are good,quality watches. That's my bottom line.
