Well darn, I'm a little late to this thread, but I was going to say I wouldn't worry about it at all. Five degrees is an extreme temp, and it's no indication of it's water resistance...imho...of course. As BL said, throw it into a bag of white rice (uncooked) if you want to draw out any possible moisture. But really, the chance of a g shock being defective is practically nill. They're like 1960's Honda motorcycles, built like a brick shithouse. (again imho)
We called another exterminator to take care of the rat problem in the basement. This one hasn't come out either.
