I like the Protrek aesthetic generally and being able to get that in a Seiko with a working bezel and 200m WR is tempting.

Will likely have a look at the all black one when they get over the new-watch price bubble.

Nope. No way. Nada. For the price of one of these, you can get a Gee Rangeman, which will give you a watch (with radio control, which the Seiko don't) that you can beat the fuck out of and be fairly certain that it'll hold up.

I do like the display on these.
I find tv watches to be like the guys who raise their truck you need a fricken ladder to get in. It’s a attempt to look cool... that’s all.
