I thought this one was dumb as a box of hammers but I'll have to reconsider.

I don't intend to get a smart watch, not even to have any experiences with one. I mean, I find it a step backwards in horology. The necessity of plugging a watch to a charger seems somehow even more primitive than a key-wound PW.
Plugging a watch to a charger, fuck me... Never thought that I'll see the day, when a horological solution quite as impractical will get so much attention.
Key-winders might not be practical, but have a charm to them- the sort of charm, that yet another piece of disposable consumer electronics cannot even aspire to have. I don't mind quartz, and I'd love to get a decent tuning fork one day (Longines Ultronic, Eterna Sonic or an Omega f300- though even a Tissot Tissonic would do), but I find smartwatches revolting.
The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents.
