Fortis is making Chinese fashion watches now.

What does everyone think of this? I think it's cause for possible confusion as some non-WIS types may get it confused with their Swiss made line (i.e.- "Hey Fortis is a Swiss brand, $150? Man, that's a deal!") Not to mention the hideous colors they come in.

Well, the labelling is honest and that's appreciated. But I wouldn't buy that watch even if it was 100% Chinese.

Wow, truth in packaging, though - the back of the watch actually states "assembled in China."

That being said, I don't see how or why that watch should sell for even half of $150; they must be counting on the brand's legacy for sales.

Fortis has trash distributors in the US and this is the result. They can't sell the Swiss version cause the margin is too small so let's go Chinese and TARNISH the Forts name.

Did anyone see my Fortis it has been about 5 years
