Watchlords

Last Saturday at a friends wedding, I met the brides grandfather. WWII vet in his 90’s, and sharp as a tack. Needless to say he was wearing this and I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it. I’ve been stashing money to buy the omega moon watch, but seeing this Breitling complicates things. This watch is big! 46mm and he pulled it off nicely. He’s also about 6’5” and I’m a whopping 5’8”. I’m not sure about a watch that big for me.
I want a really nice one to pass down to my son when my time is up
Anyone know much about this watch in comparison to the omega?

Two completely different watches with nothing in common other than that their movements are related.

Interestingly, the Breitling gives me a boner, while the Omega does not. Having said that, the Breitling is too fucking big.

How does the crystal fit with the chapter ring? The pictures make it look like it tapers into nothing?

I will not do silver hands on white, creme or silver dials anymore.......but I'm probably in the minority.

If I was you, I would pick it up and join the ever cool Shitheel Club. Can't remember who is the current President is but he lives amongst us.



FTR- the bracelet is awesome! Doesn't appear to be as robust as the one on my 43.7mm Blackbird but I could be wrong. Am positive it is comfortable as hell!

I’m leaning towards the breitling. Love the moon watch but the Navitimer is pretty bad ass
