Indeed so - and if COSC, HAQ and scratch resistance doesn't mean anything to you then that's cool, just as spies'n'space mean nothing to me so I don't see the value in a Submariner or a Speedmaster.

Also, equating this Breitling to a resin Casio on the basis of the material used is like equating a VC Overseas to a Casio Oceanus on the basis that they're both made of 316L. Even then, it's not accurate because unlike the Breitling, the VC is actually made of exactly the same material as the cheap Casio. And it's, what, 250 times more expensive?

A Breitling Navitimer in rose gold that I saw on a cruise got me into this watch thing of ours.

Only own one Breitling, a SuperOcean that I bought in 1999 and still own.

I sold a Rolex to buy the Breitling.
