The appeal was to make it, functionally, more like the long-established stop watch.

From that tactical/functional perspective it is significantly easier to time an object when held as a conventional stop watch.

“Surely those ‘traditional’ chronograph watches are just a fad!? Here’s to a great 1975!”

Turns out… they are an excruciating pain in the ass when setting or adjusting the current time.

But I dig them 👍🏼

I reckon if taken off they would indeed be more functional but where's the bail for attaching the lanyard?
