I am a Seiko fan but I find the following exerts from the article laughable.

First

"..Upon first glance, many will note similarities with the grossly overpriced Green Rolex Submariner .."

Rolex, by its nature at this point, is an expensive brand but certainly has been shown to retain its value.

Second - this is the laughable part to me even as a Seiko fan

"The Seiko Prospex SNR045J1 is currently priced at $9,400 and limited to just 500 pieces."

$9,400 for a Prospex Diver? :dssd:

Sorry but at that price point I would be spending my money on a Rolex.

They must be selling well though to have discounted them by $3k or more

At that money, buy a pre- owned breguet Marine big date
