That satirical YouTube video with the two talking bears remains the best watch-releated video ever posted, for my money. Clowns like Archie and PhatKat, you can keep - give me "the bad ass Seiko Monster, the one that will make me look cool" anytime. Glad it's on the portal page here.

This guide is really cool, too. It's a keeper. :bvbvbv:

That video was made by someone at another forum years ago. I thought enough of it to post into the forum for everyone to see and laugh at the "BAD ASS SEIKO MONSTER". Of course you are aware that a former tv shill took credit for introducing it to America. :dssd:

Anyone still own a bad ass monster?
Not any more. I sold my last one to Mort, of all people, for something like $125. I'd really like an orange one again but prices are stupid now.

9 out of 10 real world divers voted the BASM the best mechanical dive watch ever produced (one of thos dive magazine website, can't find the link now).

I regret selling mine years ago. Bought mine when they first launched around 2000-2001, before a alphabeta male claimed he was responsible for introducing it to wis.

I still have the black dial and orange.
I should list them since they don't get much wear
I could be interested in one or both.

The BASM is one of the worst dive watches I have used. The bezel is fatally flawed.
Meritocracy: the privilege, wealth and advancement of those who chose their parents wisely.
Capitalism: a cult that promised to do good for the worst reasons.
Nationalism: a profound longing to go back to a past that never existed.

9 out of 10 divers say you're wrong!
That magazine only surveyed muff divers. Still a compelling statistic though!
