After the Wagnerian debacle of the Fugaku tourbillon, Seiko rebounds with two extraordinary versions of its second tourbillon, the GBCC996 in pink gold and GBCC997 in white gold. Not sure about the world record and it's hard to translate this stuff in google from Japanese but suffice to say the movement, the Cal 6670 clocks in at 1.9mm thin and the thickness of the watch in total is less than 4mm. The design is influenced by Japanese building architecture and of course it is made by only a half dozen master craftsmen. Prices are on par with Swiss high end tourbillons, $110-120k each. Truly beautiful pieces.

Seiko seems to have gotten their inspiration from Home Depot's bathroom tile selection...
Ebels are a lot like women that lack a low cut dress that zips up the side...neither get the love that they deserve...
