Watchlords

Well guys, since I retired from the work force I have been on the search for one good watch to spend my twilight years with and after a few missteps, I have found it.

The Seiko Sumo PADI edition with sapphire crystal and 2 tone lume. Fantastic wrist watch that meets all my criteria. The other bonus was that I got it for over 50% off RRP brand new.

Thanks guys, the pin and collar bracelet adjustment was a PIA to adjust. I nearly lost a collar but luckily it was still in the link so sorted it out. I haven't owned a sumo for a long time and had to watch a how to YouTube video.

There are some who think the 6R calibre movements are crap, but I have always liked them and the 6R35 has a 70 hour power reserve as well.

I have had two 6R movements and found them reliable and more accurate than expected. I think a fair amount of the negativity comes from people responding to the specs vs actual use.

And I don't believe you. No way our Petey could stick with (any) one watch for the long run

Just sold a Citizen promaster with pin and collar - I swapped them for pushpins when I adjusted the bracelet for my 8.5 inch wrist.

Actually, I have lost interest in wrist watches over the last year or so. It's been developing for a while.

I like that one. Extra points for getting the Philippine safety shoes in the shot. Congrats.
