Seiko SBDC009 Orange Shogun On The Market

Post by WISenheimer » May 10th 2024, 12:58pm

True unicorn, one can go for years and years without seeing one of these.

Described as near mint with full length bracelet. Non original Seiko box and no rubber strap. The OEM SBDC007/009 straps appear readily available for 30-40 USD if you gotta have one.

Auction closes in less than 24 hours

Yodobashi is good for price history. First price is list, second is their price and for discintinued items, the last price at which they sold it. Not always the lowest price for stuff, but pretty close usually.

During those years 100 yen to the buck is a goid rule of thumb. So 800-900 USD. About the same for the black dialed SBDC007.

Sakura has SBDC129c current Shogun, at 178,000 yen now.

New I think these were US$700ish, in 2010ish dollars. When a Monster could be had for $150 and a Sumo $350. Carl could confirm.
Yeah, not far off that.

The Shogun is a cool watch. I got one in the shade of orange that works underwater 993kg%

I can see them but the issue appears to be HTTP instead of HTTPS on your domain and different browsers/settings.

Thanks. Turns out my domain host now charges separately for SSL certificates. Should work fine now.
