"Needing" a watch reminds me of Jim Gaffigan's old joke:

Me: Hey, want a donut?
Him: No thanks, I'm not hungry.
Me: What's being hungry have to do with it?!?
WatchGeeks will go down in watch forum history as the worst watch related site that existed. Trolls, threats, bannings, and owners and sponsors talking out of their collective asses to fleece people out of hard earned money. - Koimaster

No doubt. I had a Sumo, oh, maybe five years back; I paid around $450 for it. Some of the older guys here had Sumos before that, for even less.

Upgrades include a new movement, the 6R35, said to have a 70 hour power reserve, and sapphire for the crystal. If the finishing on it is as good as the one I had, with inflation, I'd guess that the $750 price isn't too far out of line.
My little brain can't even comprehend how deep that is.

in addition, used, the jade sumo can be had for around $475 from what I've seen, considered picking one up a few times.

Moi aussi.

I got one when they were first introduced. Lasted a couple of months. I'm of the "needs a wider bracelet" school. It felt top heavy.
I think Boscoe had one then too.

45mm? That's a nope. Almost 53mm lug to lug? Double nope. It's green, that makes it a triple NOPE.

Not bad watches just a bit on the upper end for me with the movements (price point that is).

Those are ok. Way too much $$$ though.
