Why do you have to talk about family members? Fucking Shitbird.
I'm still wondering how can someone that's been collecting watches since the 70's still have such a poor taste in watches. Fucking unbelievable. You can go and fuck yourself now sweetb.

Agreed. This was out of line.
that crossed the line in my book too.

Sometimes there is no line depending on who or what the comment was directed to. In this case a "yo mama" comment pales by comparison to some of the BS spewed forth by the target.

All's fair...,what's good for the goose...., etc.

If one likes to dish it out then they should be prepared to take it.

And I'm still alive.

"Yo Mama" jokes and comments are pretty common and have been around for years. Almost as common as "Hope you get cancer and die" jokes.

An old Saturday Night from years back had a skit w/Richard Pryor based on them.

Once again, you have to take the comments from whence they come and see who they are directed at.

What was said is totally different.

It was earned.

Since Thread Resurrection has become quite the rage here lately, I've gone through the lists on this thread to see which companies are still around. Or at least have a working website.

I listed below all the working websites. I added Laco and Islander watches.

Prometheus www.prometheuswatch.com/

Dievas http://www.dievaswatches.com/

Halios http://www.halioswatches.com/

Broscett http://www.boschett-timepieces.com/

Deep Blue http://deepbluewatches.com/index.html

https://www.christopherward.com/int/home

https://magrette.com/

https://www.bernhardtwatch.com/

Grovana http://www.grovana.ch/

https://www.damasko-watches.com/en

https://lum-tec.com/

http://www.mkiiwatches.com

http://www.nfwonline.com

https://ocean7watchco.com/

http://www.rescowatch.com

http://www.steinhartwatches.de/

https://www.utswatches.com/

http://www.wilsonwatchworks.com

http://www.zentonwatches.com/

https://www.laco-watches.com/en/index

https://longislandwatch.com/islander-watches/

Of all these watch companies, my favorites are Christopher Ward, Magrette, Islander, Damasko, Grovana, Laco.

It's been 12-13 years since the original list; surely there are some newcomers worthy of a mention or two.

Does anyone have a boutique brand with models for say $1500 or less?

Of those, I wonder how many still offer much under $500. Islander do very well with their pricing.

I give Bernhardt credit for having a couple of great contenders under $400 dollars. Quartz, yep, but there's no real faulting the build for the money.
