After Renato got all cross-threaded with WG I decided it was time for me to buy one for no better reason than solidarity ... if you will.

But, try as I might I couldn't find anything on their site that would get along with my 7.25" wrist or, alternatively, not get me the sort of attention I didn't want.

Sometimes, not often but sometimes, when I'm reading about times gone by I come to realize that there may well have been a golden era of TV watches and that I missed it - completely and irrevocably. By the time I showed up things had changed with no hope of redemption. The posting of pictures of the old days drives this home. I mean, an actual Admiral COSC Invicta? It's hard to fathom such a time ever existed. And now I learn of a similar epoch involving Renato.

Sucks to be new.

Well, crap.

I didn't mean to torpedo the thread just by tossing an olive branch and giving credit where credit is due.

I hereby declare that my olive branch is much like the Christmas cease fires which were observed during the first world war -

After the turkey is consumed, we'll be right back to sniping at one another.

Better now?

Yeah, but you never have, so far as I can tell.

Not yet but I am always open to new things.

Sucks to be new.

It can but look at it as a new adventure.

Well you did refuse to sell me a sea vulture a few years ago. You have that going for you. If Ken vouches for you that is all it takes.

Now someone vouch for Ken.

Nobody's perfect and it's great the two of you found each other. The Taste Police now order both of you to move along and go back to your homes under your bridges. There's nothing more to see here.
